106: A Further Look at Matthew’s ‘Son of Man’ Christology

February 6, 2020

As we continue our study through the Gospel of Matthew to better understand the Christological significance of Jesus' favorite self-reference "the Son of Man," we encounter passages where the Son of Man possesses authority over the angels, the right to rule as a king, and the role of judge. We also find that Jesus calls other human beings his "brothers"-- further indicating that the Son of Man is an authentic member of the human race.
