Within both testaments of the Bible, the covenant is often portrayed in terms of a marriage. While the Hebrew Bible regards Yahweh as the covenantal husband, the New Testament unambiguously insists that the husband is now Jesus. This episode explores how both testaments depict the marriage metaphor within the covenant relationship in order to discern the Christological implications of the husband/groom.
