154: Jesus as the Word of God in Revelation

In Revelation 19:13 Jesus is called "the word of God." Is this a reference to the Prologue of John's Gospel, where the word is with God in the beginning? Or is the word of God a descriptive reference to Jesus' own preaching of the gospel of the kingdom?
